Re: The latest storm of chaos from a Microsoft Announcement of changes to the default M365 Personal and Family Plans to include Copilot Functionality in the Office Programs
- The "several months" rollout period is a virtual certainty.? It can't take a whole year, in this case, if it's being offered in a given country simply because the increase in cost is set to occur

Re: The latest storm of chaos from a Microsoft Announcement of changes to the default M365 Personal and Family Plans to include Copilot Functionality in the Office Programs
Since this announcement is kind of new, you'd probably have to wait for several months up to a year for the downgrade and copilot features. Best regards, Muhammad

David, In regard to Outlook, I presume you mean Outlook Classic.? I've not had it show up in Outlook Classic or New Outlook for me, yet, or else the presentation is quite different as far as what

Re: The latest storm of chaos from a Microsoft Announcement of changes to the default M365 Personal and Family Plans to include Copilot Functionality in the Office Programs
In my case, I was first offered Copilot in Word. The offer for Outlook presented itself either later on during the same day or possibly the day after and I noticed it in Excel for the first time

Re: The latest storm of chaos from a Microsoft Announcement of changes to the default M365 Personal and Family Plans to include Copilot Functionality in the Office Programs
Diana, Now that we have two Canadians reporting this option does not exist, and in your case with sighted spouse verification, then it may be a country-related thing. The downgrade is not noted as a

That was our experience too. I wonder if it's something about living in Canada and that is where we've subscribed to MS365. My husband is sighted and sees no such downgrade options for "classic"

Word: Turning Off Integrated Copilot and the prompt it produces: "Select the icon or press Alt + I to draft with Copilot"
Several points first: 1. The prompt is just that, a prompt.? It can be ignored, it is NOT part of your document text, and if you just start typing all behaves as it always has. 2. The technique given

Daniel, The answer to your question, at least from my perspective, is "Yes and no."? Yes for the big picture, no for the nitty gritty details because dialogs during installaiton change over time.?

Can the process of upgrading to a newer Microsoft Office version be explained from a screen reader's point of view?
Hi everyone First off, I would like to thank Brian for making everybody aware of the cut off period for Microsoft Office 2016 / 2019. I didn¡¯t foresee that happening this year, especially two office

Re: M365 Family - What happens if the primary subscriber dies?
- Exactly.? And if they die, and no one "reconstitutes" the family at (or near) the renewal date by becoming the primary owner, then the entire family dissolves.? I doubt many who are family members

Re: M365 Family - What happens if the primary subscriber dies?
I¡¯m missing something then, or am not clear enough. The primary owner holds the license, others do not. The primary owner pays the cost of the membership. So when it comes time to renew, a personal

Because, David, you could have 6 people involved, 5 of whom are not the ones who were the primary subscriber. Are you saying that all 5 of those remaining people should just buy personal

I don¡¯t understand this thread, just let the subscription run out then get your own. Simple and less complicated. For example if the subscription was started on Jan. 2/2025 and the subscriber died

Re: M365 Family - What happens if the primary subscriber dies?
I suspect to transfer a primary membership after a person dies will require a copy of the death certificate as proof for Microsoft that the person has really died and someone isn't trying to take over

M365 Family - What happens if the primary subscriber dies?
I figure this should be put out now simply because I'm thinking about it and it is indirectly involved with issues of M365 billing. M365 Family has a primary subscriber (the person paying for all 6
