¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI¡¯m missing something then, or am not clear enough.? The primary owner holds the license, others do not.? The primary owner pays the cost of the membership. So when it comes time to renew, a personal membership is not necessary. When I purchased a family membership years ago, I didn¡¯t charge others to use it, I absorbed the cost. Poverty is subjective.? Some are poor yet think nothing of running out to Starbucks for a coffee or the like once a month, week or in some cases daily.? Basically not having their priorities straight is at the route of it all. Then there are others who live from pay cheque to pay cheque because of the high cost of living, not living high on the hog so to speak.? ???? ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]>

Because, David, you could have 6 people involved, 5 of whom are not the ones who were the primary subscriber. ? Are you saying that all 5 of those remaining people should just buy personal subscriptions?? I don't think so. ? People need to understand what needs to be done if/when the person who is the primary subscription holder for a M365 Family subscription passes and someone else wants to become that primary subscriber and hold "the family" (which may not, in actuality, be a family as commonly construed) together without a lapse in service and possible loss in access. ? I sure as hell would not want to suddenly be paying $70 or $100 per year for something someone had been sharing with me at no cost, or where a group of up to 6 people got together to split the cost of a family subscription amongst themselves, which even at $130/year, divided by 6, is a lot cheaper per person than a single M365 Personal subscription. ? People in M365 families are well advised to know what is necessary to keep said families together rather than needing to all suddenly become M365 Personal subscribers at greatly increased expense. -- Brian? ¡¤ ¡á? ¡¤ ???? ¡¤ ?Virginia, USA?- Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2, Build 26100; M365 Family; Android 13 (Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.10.0) It is much easier to be critical than to be correct. ?????? ~ Benjamin Disraeli, 1804-1881 |
