Dellorto Float Bowl Nut - Leaking after Check

Original R90/S & R90/6 spark plug leads have an additional insulator that looks like a section of fuel line on them. Do your spark plug wires have this additional insulation on them? Ted

It could very well be that you have bad ignition wires. Sometimes it is hard to spot fine cracking of the insulated wiring. The fact that these wires are as old as they are, leads me to suspect them

I confirmed the bike does have the 400W upgrade, which was done in 2006 with the DYNA III. I pulled the float bowls last night and both were clean. Checked the float action and confirmed the needle

Maybe take your float bowls off and see if any water or particles floating around. Since it ran so good first time I doubt it is ignition related, sounds like fuel Richard Chawes
