Finally got some time to look at the bike. I pulled both plug leads an did a quick check. Both leads were showing next to "0" resistance. I bent and folded the leads while checking to see if there was an issue i.e. change in the reading, and there wasn't.
The 1K plug caps showed LH: 970 and RH: 1030.
I checked both coils as well:
LH - Primary: 1.1 - 1.2, Secondary: 12.3
RH - Primary: 1.1 - 1.2, Secondary 12.85
I will order new leads from Euro Motoelectrics with the 5K Caps, as I've read they are a good way to go. I'm also looking at getting the Digital Ignition System they offer. Not sure if this is a good upgrade or not, but I have a similar optical type in my R69S and it's been great.
With being in Canada and Covid, it will be a bit befor the new plug leads arrive, but I'll update when they get here.
