Locked Re: Bad Stumble below 3000 RPM after Brief Stop

With similar symptoms, I was recently embarrassed to discover a poorly adjusted enricher cable on one side - just slightly sticking open. But it made for the worst running at 2000-2500 rpm and huge unsynchronization ?of the the card balance. Of course after chasing ignition coils, HT leads, faulty grounds, worn needle jets, etc. it turned out to be the simplest of issues.

Original R90/S & R90/6 spark plug leads have an additional insulator that looks like a section of fuel line on them. Do your spark plug wires have this additional insulation on them?

It could very well be that you have bad ignition wires.? Sometimes it is hard to spot fine cracking of the insulated wiring. ?The fact that these wires are as old as they are, leads me to suspect them as the culprit.? I¡¯d at least investigate the wires from the coil to the plugs.
