The ting is that the increase in price is still not being shown in my “next renewal” information although I don’t have any doubt that it will increase now. This is really fishy. I probably will keep it and won’t downgrade because I can afford two or three bucks if this give me the opportunity to use AI features in a limited way, but I don’t like the way it is being done.

When they say, "Existing subscribers won't experience price changes until their next renewal, "? you can be darned sure that price increases will be involved.

?

But, you can be equally certain that you'll be warned well ahead of your renewal date and given the opportunity to "downgrade" to the "Classic" M365 Personal or Family so that you keep the same services you had during the non-AI era.

?

As soon as they tell me that my $99/year is going up to something significantly higher at a renewal date I'll be downgrading.? If it's a trivial increase in price, say $1 or $2 a month, if I end up finding the integrated Copilot functionality useful to me I might keep it.

Don, the short answer is, "yes, it can be made to go away fully."
?
The long answer is this all depends on the environment (what you can do in M365 Family or Personal is entirely different than what you may be able to do on centrally administered M365).

Has he done what's documented here if he's using Personal or Family?:

I have a Jaws customer who wants Copilot uninstalled.

After supposedly uninstalling it, we went into Word and the message came up about hitting alt I and writing with Copilot.

Can this be made to go away fully or is it being forced on us?

I literally sent this page to someone I know this morning.? Many techs have had to resort to the Manual workaround, which means removing the third-party access for Microsoft Apps on the Google side of the equation, then starting the process in Outlook Classic from scratch.

Re: CONTROL-Y doesn't Always Work

I can't speak to what anyone might be doing, but remember that Ctrl + Y is the redo command in a very great many contexts, and if you happen to be in a context within Outlook where something could be re-done, that's probably what's happening.
?
The Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Y undo-redo pair of commands are very widespread.
?
If Shift + F6 works, that's almost certain to not have any possibility of collision and be 100% reliable.?
