I looked into his Profile and cannot change it. It cannot be my Profile intended. The member has not posted anything yet. I saw nothing in the Settings that seemed to affect this. The exact "error" message follows.

Owners have all permissions, while moderators can have specific permissions.

The only current way is one at a time.? This is an often requested feature that has been on the TODO list for just over 2 years, .

Special Notices
Hi
I sent a message special notice from my group home. Ticked the Special Notice box. But there is no marking on the incoming message. I confirmed in Activity that it was sent as special but shouldn't it automatically add a hashtag or something. Otherwise members might wonder why they got mail from the group all of a sudden. Opinions? Frances |

Hi - is there a way to rapidly "clean up" a photo album?
For example, my "emailed photos" album has many instances of the same picture that different people happen to use in their email signatures. I'd like to be able to delete those without having to click on each individual picture and clicking the "YES" button for each individual picture after that.? There's 250+ of them in there, so I'd sure appreciate any ideas! Thanks, Matt King |

It depends on how the album is created.? When starting one, the options are "Group Access - Any group member can add photos to this album." or "Personal Access - Only you and the moderators can add photos to this album".? It looks like the ones that were transferred must have been set as the second choice.? You can Edit Album to see what the setting is and change it, if needed.

Adding Photos to Existing Folder Query
If Photos in Admin/Settings is set to "subscribers can view and upload", should every subscriber be able to upload to an "existing" folder? One of the G.io groups I belong to where folders of pix were brought over ... I cannot upload to an existing folder as a mere subscriber. Dennis

Thank you, Shal. I'm wondering if the issue is that they may have accepted the invite on a cell phone and then are trying to access from their home computers and vice versa? Further to my post above (timed 9.22 pm UK time) I have just done a bit more digging. While the Settings > Identity page talks of a "Group Profile" a check of the members list on "my" group lists the corresponding column as "Display Name".
If this anomaly persists it could turn into yet another point of confusion for members. Grr... Chris |

They claim that the only thing they see on the group home page are the Messages and #Hashtags buttons on the left and nothing below that. Subscribers cannot access files?
Some of the subscribers to a group I moderate are unable to access files. They claim that the only thing they see on the group home page are the Messages and #Hashtags buttons on the left and nothing below that. Any clues to what might be causing this issue? Thanks for any help you can give.

Open your account, click on the Identity tab, and click on the Edit button for your account profile. You'll see a box to create a unique identifier for yourself, which will be prepended with the @ sign.
