You can go to your account (upper right), then Preferences, scroll down to Email Preferences, select "I always want copies of my own emails", and click Update Preferences.? You'll end up with 2 copies of the email, the one you sent (which is what you're seeing now) and the one that comes back.? The one coming back should have the prepend. I think I figured out what is going on. If I send the email from my gmail account, it appears in my inbox without the prepend. Everyone else is getting it with the prepend so I think we are fine.?

Git access to files/wiki

I'm a big user of for all my foundation and communities collaboration - it's been overall a good experience compared to the mailing lists of old.
?
One feature I use a lot of is the Wiki and Files section - particularly to build out portals of information for the various groups. GitHub is often used for communities that are generally open, but if I need a private community collaboration or portal tool, the wiki/files section works well.
?
One feature I really like about GitHub is that the Wiki itself is cloneable as a git repo that I can edit locally. This is super helpful as editing markdown on local tools is much easier, plus I can build workflows to publish content from internal resources right to the public resource. Anyway that Files/Wiki could be exposed as Git repos for this purpose?

If you're the only owner, you shouldn't have been able to do that.? Have another owner remove the ban, rejoin, and have them promote you to owner.

Yes, I tried cricket654me@...?as it is one of the 11 email addresses I have for various things (dogs, groups, personal, family, close friends, acquaintances, etc).

He got me going again and I was finally able to get into my old group and now have both groups active (one will become a back up group in case this ever happens again). ? The scheduled phone call from Cox never came, so I think I'll call Cox and get some more information from them about resetting my IP address...Maybe they might need to be involved in this.
I still keep getting delayed emails from my group and GMF (Sometimes only hours old instead of days), and this is making me wonder abut something. If I was blacklisted would I still get delayed emails (even my own) from my group and GMF? Don |

To emphasize what Bruce said about members perhaps not having their subscription set to receive Individual messages, if they had been set to Special Notice or No Email or something else on the Yahoo group, that preference would have been copied into their subscription on the Groups.io group. In that case it may be normal for them not to receive your announcements. It is also possible that the members have muted the topic or hashtag used in your announcements; though it seems unlikely that hundreds would do so. Another possibility is that the members have chosen Following Only as their Message Selection option (Advanced Preferences), but again it seems unlikely that hundreds would. I recently sent 75 invitations to a new policy / political group I started.? I believe it got blocked at about 30 or 40 invitations, however I was surprised how fast they approved the rest.? Maybe I just got lucky, but they got to it in less than a half hour.??

I thought when an invite was sent, the person it was sent to could click on a link in the email invite that would tell me they did not want to join. Invitees are told that to decline the invitation they should just ignore it. Standard advice when receiving spam is to never click any links in the spam, not even an unsubscribe link. Responding, even if to tell them to drop dead, tells them that the address is deliverable. I have been in communication with Cox about this, and tomorrow I have a scheduled phone call with a level 2 person to find out what they have been able to do...or not do. Excellent. Perhaps they can explain exactly what the issue is. The error message (if I recall correctly) isn't very helpful. A better explanation may help Groups.io correct the problem for all Cox subscribers. I don't have a lot of experience (read: none) with Announcement-only groups, and acknowledge that this is a shotgun approach to the problem.
