Re: Blah blah blah
Toby: Speaking of "awful, but strangely alluring", I regularly get a song stuck Ah!? That would be '
Nature Is The Most Boring Mystery', by Bird Names! I found it on an MP3 blog called... I can't remember what it was called but it had "Sheep" in the name and was run by someone in Toronto. I still have the mp3 so lemme know if you want a copy.? It's hard to find online; it was one of the band's first tracks and only released on a CDr: Their first 'proper' album is nearest in sound/spirit, except maybe *more* lo-fi.? Excerpts here: Pretty much everything else by the band (now defunct) is on Bandcamp: 'Open Relationship' is their TNSG, 'Wooden Lake/Sexual Diner' is their Dragnet. Pete |

Re: "Recent" Fall releases
I love buying Fall records but this is crazy saturation of the market.?
I bought the Let Them Eat Vinyl release of Interim a few months ago, which was a sensible release to put out as it had only been on CD previously. When I received it I was fairly taken aback by the flyer inside the record advertising LETV's current and future vinyl releases. 41 Fall albums! Just about everything from both Sets of Ten The From The Vaults series The Knitting Factory/Garage/ATP series A reissue of The Light User Syndrome I Am As Pure As Oranj and a few others live albums I've pre-ordered I Am As Pure As Oranj and I might go for Live From The Vaults?Alter Bahnhof when it's available just?for the version of Session Musician on there. But the rest of the live stuff I'll leave, I didn't buy them first time around on CD. |

I was looking through the OTW archive the other day to see our interview was on there but I don’t think it was. I seem to remember setting a 4 hour video to record the radio just before we set off for Blackburn for the interview so I probably have a recording somewhere. I probably sounded all high pitched and enthusiastic as I hadn't yet been beaten-down into the gutter by the shit-storm that passes as life. adam ?On 10/11/2020, 11:11, "[email protected] on behalf of Toby Blake" <[email protected] on behalf of tobyblake@...> wrote: It's available online: There's a mixcloud app for all you youngsters with your new-fangled "mobile phones".
