Yes, I just checked and Libre Office 6.1.3.2 is running perfectly under Catalina 10.15.1. I had to change a few paths since the directory structure of macOS has changed from previous versions, but it works fine.

Jim,
Thanks for the advice. ?I¡¯ve noticed too that my mail doesn¡¯t sort on my iPhone when my Mac isn¡¯t on, and I hated that!!!
I quite honestly did not know I could set up rules at . ?I just set up my first rule there and it¡¯s quite simple. ?I¡¯ll be spending awhile getting the rest set up, but am really excited that they will sort on my phone too. ?When I¡¯m finished I will try to delete the rules on my Mac - but that¡¯s where the problem has been, I haven¡¯t been able to delete or alter them in any way. ?Maybe the change will fix that little problem. ?I¡¯ll hope for the best.
Thanks again for the advice, I sure do appreciate it!

So am I.

I¡¯ve had a detailed set of rules in Apple Mail on my Mac for many years.
Using IMAP on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad, my mail and mailboxes neatly synchronize among all three ¨C IF the Mac is booted up.

When all the sorting was done on the Mac, mail didn¡¯t get sorted if I was reading it remotely on my iPad, but the Mac was turned off at home.

So I took a different approach ¨C I logged into iCloud, opened Mail on that website, and set up all the sorting filters there, since that was the first place my incoming mail went, before even going to my Mac, iPad, or iPhone.

Of course, I also DISabled those rules on my Mac.

This is all by way of saying that, in MY experience, rules do NOT synch.
Having them on the mail server is the most efficient method.

I don¡¯t know if it has been re-compiled as a 64-bit suite or not. Just go to libreoffice.org or openoffice.org and snoop around.

I had forced myself to learn to use iWork apps and found that they filled my meager needs nicely. I haven¡¯t used the *Office suites in years. If they have been re-compiled, then give Libre a try.

The FREE application suite called ¡®Libre Office¡¯ works rather well. It has all the normal productivity apps (word processor, spreadsheet, database, presentation, etc). It IMports and EXports to the related MS apps. And of course, the MS apps IMport and EXport to Libre Office and its¡¯ look alikes and work alikes (Open Office and Neo Office). Libre Office is the preferred suite the last several years and has versions for Mac, Linux/UNIX, Solaris, and Winderz. I actually had Open Office on my old PC running IBM OS/2 v.r 4.0 years back.

I called Apple this morning. ?They screen shared and recorded what was?going on. ?Basically my Mail Rules are not working. ?

I can't delete?any of the rules because they come right back when I close Mail and?re-open it.
Apple is passing this on to the higher ups?to figure?out and will get back to me on Wednesday.
