Re: Signature images #MacSupportCentral

Good thought, but that only works if we run a server. Many, if not most do not. Mail.app will include an image, if your put one in your contact.?

If it is that important, to the recipient, I suggest that as a solution. Of list members, I have found a desire to have three images show. One in England, but from a defunct list, and he was wearing Victorian re-enactment garb, Roger. One in Belgium who impressed me with his knowledge, but lurks now, hi Ian. And gawd know why, he infuriates me, but I respect his knowledge, Jim S.?

I have been a member of ?various Apple groups since 1998, and posted my image, once. So if someone wants my ugly image, dig now in the early post of this list in groups.io, or send me a private email, and I will send you an image, suitable for your dart board.

It would be more helpful to have your basic system listed in a signature, like below.

Brent?

MacBook Pro,?15",?early 2008, OS X 10.7.5
iPhone 4S, iOS 9.3.6

Small pic like yours helps identify with that person. ?Thanks.
Each image adds to the groups¡¯ maximum file size for attachments but having capability of attachments can be useful. My preference would be to embed a link in your ¡°attachment¡± in the email so it loads when the message is displayed. If you have a place on line where your picture is stored that works out well. If not it¡¯s hard to do without making individual copies of the attachment in each message
