My Mail app suddenly opened only as a blank black rectangle; no mailboxes appeared. I tried closing, then reopening the app, with no change. I then shut down and rebooted the phone. When I reopened Mail, everything was gone from my Inbox and VIP mailboxes.

I can still send and receive email. Incoming hostname is “”; outgoing is ".”

iOS version is 13.2.2.

Can I retrieve my vanished mail? If so, how? Restore from a backup?
