Forced Restart:
Some describe a forced restart as hitting the power button on a computer, and I used to hold that same opinion. ?But I now believe that it is more than that. ?It also restarts your iPhone, and I¡¯m convinced that is does something extra during that restart. ?I¡¯ve encountered a bug in the Files app on my iPad that causes it to be extremely slow in displaying files, often just showing emfolders, when there are many files in those folders. ?I did a shutdown and then restarted several times, but that didn¡¯t help. ?However, doing a single force restart corrected the problem. ? I¡¯ve read articles stating that the author had come to the same conclusion as I have.
