Double check you have handoff turned on for both devices. I just set this up last month and couldn't figure out why my new MacBook Air wasn't seeing the iPad. I followed the instructions at the bottom of this article, turned on handoff and all is good now.?

Then, same screen, where it says ¡°Devices¡± the wheel just keeps going around searching.

The MacBook says This Mac is discoverable as ¡°MacBook Air¡± while Bluetooth Settings is open.?
And under My Devices. - ¡°No Bluetooth Devices¡±? and it says ¡°Nearby Devices¡±.
