global pcb footprint update
For example , i just assigned 1/4w resistor footprint to 1/2w resistor. since i dont have 1/2w resistor footprint. then after reading the netlist in pcbnew. i go in to edit model of 1/4w resistot

Was it just my bad luck that (2011-01-22 BZR 2754)-stable on Windows fired up in (I think) Dutch the first time I ran it? Or as Google would put it "Was het gewoon mijn pech dat (2011-01-22 BZR 2754)

Annotation - feature request
My previous package (Boardmaker/Boardcapture 2) allowed automatic reannotation of the PCB based on module position. This could then be back annotated to the schematic using a reference "was is" file.

Not specific to Kicad, but generally if you have problems with some software in Vista and W7, try an install outside of program files, that gets around some of the features of Vista and W7 regarding

Since I executed all executables by hand KiCad can now find them, so it works now. With windows 7 its maybe better to split user/lib stuff from the program stuff like in Linux. Than you don't need

It might be looking for it in the X64 folder. instead of the X86 one. That is if there is a X64 folder. As i understand it 32 bit programs go into the X86 folder and 64 bit ones into the X64 folder,
