My previous package (Boardmaker/Boardcapture 2) allowed automatic reannotation of the PCB based on module position. This could then be back annotated to the schematic using a reference "was is" file. There is some discussion of this in the group but the feature does not appear to be implemented in Kicad. I have been doing this by hand - tedious and error prone. Any chance of this being included?
