Free Loot!- numerous items from SK hams

Hello everyone!

I've received a box of goodies from a silent key's family in California. They asked that these things be passed on free of?charge to fellow hams that could put them to use.

NONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN TESTED AND THEY DID NOT KNOW IF ANY ARE ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL.

The list!-

Byonics TinyTrak3Plus
Module only, no cables

Alinco DR-M06
6 meter FM mobile transceiver
Radio and 2 instruction manuals/schematics only, no mic or mount or power cable

Yaesu FTM-3200DR
2 meter FM & Fusion digital mobile transceiver?
Radio, mount, and mic only, no power cord or mounting screws or manual

Yaesu FTM-3207DR
70cm FM & Fusion digital mobile transceiver?
Radio, mount, and mic only, no power cord or mounting screws or manual?

Kenwood TM-D710GA
Dual band 2m/70cm mobile transceiver w/APRS & GPS
Radio, mic, control head, control head cable, instruction manual, original box
THIS ONE I KNOW TRANSMITS AND RECEIVES FINE BUT THE CONTROL HEAD DISPLAY DOES NOT WORK

RF Concepts rfc 2-23 2 meter amplifier?
Turns your HT into a higher powered mobile. 2 watts input from your HT makes 30 watts out. Amplifier only, no power cable or manual

MFJ-9406 6 meter SSB transceiver?
No power cable or mic or manual

Motorola HT1000 VHF handheld
Full keypad model, includes 2 NiCad batteries and antenna, no charger or manual

Motorola Radius R1225 high power VHF mobile

Motorola Spectra 110 watt UHF mobile
Main transmitter unit, control cable, control head, tray mount for main unit, mount for control head, mic. No power cord or speaker or manual?

Hi Jim;

??? ??? ??? Wish I could be there but, too, many issues at the moment. If there looking to sell the tower and it's the kind that can "cage" a rotor I'd be interested. I've lost 2 rotors to the winds here. I'm on my third one on a crank up pole, "uncaged rotor".

Appreciate the info and reminder, Walt.

Attached please find a map with road closure info.? I want to emphasize that only those with placards get to drive on the closed portion? of the road, between Cleetwood 6.7-mile First Finish and Skell Head.? The speed limit for that section is 15 mph.

Looking forward to seeing you Saturday and thank you for your volunteering to help out.

Please keep in mind that Crater Lake is about 7200 ft in altitude so if you have any issues breathing you may want to skip this one.

I am now preparing the trailer for the rim run next Saturday, August 12 (my late dad's birthday).? So in the next day or two I will bring down the tower on the trailer and revert the repeater and APRS to the mobile antenna.? The repeater?will still be available?for testing but probably won't hear as good so please keep that in mind.

BTW; if your radio does APRS please bring it as the APRS?digipeater in the club trailer is fully operational and it might be useful to have a location data?on the volunteers.

A "strange" visitor last night... #PacketRadio

Hey all, Devin KJ7OES? from Grants Pass here.
Did anyone else get a visit from Andy RK3KPK last night? When I woke up this morning I had a new user message on my sysop mail and a new user record all filled out.
At first I was confused because my system shows him coming in on my 2m radio. since Russia is just a little far for Ducting, but after some research, I found this is a regular thing for Andy.
He finds a AXIP gateway, and will visit as many as he can. I will post his email when I have more free time today.
I encourage you to send him a message via AX25 and thank him for his visit!
