Re: Hi

I have been resisting the nagging messages on my 16in MBPro to update to Big Sur, as some of my applications are already not functioning under Catalina. ?I have let my VMware subscription lapse, so no virtual boxes on here and Boot Camp only exists on my 27in iMac from 8 years ago.?

Big Sur has I believe wiped out Boot Camp or using virtual box methods. Even in Catalina my iMac Pro doesn¡¯t hardly want to know about anything earlier on exterior drive - it turns up looking like it was done on an ancient dot matrix printer.?

Think we¡¯re all feeling our way somewhat with the new systems.?

You can¡¯t complain about your NHS treatment if they transported you back and forth on their protocols.

?Could you not go see local GP rather than risk a public hospital? We carry a selection of masks in the car even though at the moment here masks are not a requirement.?

Yes there is such a thing as referred pain - I got to recognise that in racing greyhounds when I was a leading lady dog trainer - where they limp is not necessarily where they are hurt.

Hi Jude,
I guess it came as no suprise, but I got no feedback as to whether the latest kit can be used ?with a 64 bit apple. Can anyone advise me on a PC emulator, because I think this mac is up to it.
They took me to the Royal Derby Hospital when I had my seizure on 20th February. I know Mansfield is a hotspot for Covid, know there's a lot round Nottingham too. Would have thought they would take me to Chesterfield, but I guess that's overloaded too.
Wanted to travel back by public transport to save the NHS money/an ambulance, but they wouldn't let me, because I'd been next to someone who tested positive for Covid. He was back from me in ?an alcove, so very unlikely I've caught it. Did everything right, regular hand washing, wearing a mask keeping 2M or more from anyone, but you can't wear a mask when you eat/drink.
Turns out foot was infected so they've given me Flucloxacillin 1g, 4 times a day. It is doing a good job.
Guess I'll have a 4th scar to add my collection on the right leg.
Pain has flared up on the left side. It must be referred pain has I've never injured my left side.
Heard of Phantom limb pain, but referred pain was a new one on me.
I guess it's true what they say, you learn something new everyday.?
I'll know in 10 days if I have Covid. Wearing NBC mask to protect others. Can't believe how many people I see with no mask, It's not a tough ask is it?
Hugs to you & Peter, John
