Well, you just keep looking after yourself, John; your treatment certainly sounds impressive.

Well Jude, things were a bit more serious than that. Spiral fracture of the Tibia & simple fracture of the Fibula. I had 20 mg of Oramorph (Morphine) & Entonox (Nitrous oxide & Oxygen), but I've never felt physical pain like it as they twisted my foot back 30 degrees. Knew it had to be done. They were out by 5 degrees. Consultant, Mr Desai put a steel rod in & corrected the 5 degrees.
I was given a nerve block in my spine (he was a bloody good anaethetist too) + Midazolam (tranqilizer) so you don't give a damn about anything.
The only thing that was more painful was when I asked my South Carolina girlfriend to marry me & she said
"Oh NO!, oh NO!'
I guess she was scared of commitment
Anyway, the Flucoxacillin (antibiotic) is doing a bloody good job, healing my cut foot.
I guess I might have inherited Osteoporosis from my mother (She had Dowagers Stoop) & weak lungs from my father.
The only thing they gave me that was good was a best of year brain & resourcefullness.

Think we¡¯re all feeling our way somewhat with the new systems.?

You can¡¯t complain about your NHS treatment if they transported you back and forth on their protocols.

?Could you not go see local GP rather than risk a public hospital? We carry a selection of masks in the car even though at the moment here masks are not a requirement.?

Yes there is such a thing as referred pain - I got to recognise that in racing greyhounds when I was a leading lady dog trainer - where they limp is not necessarily where they are hurt.

Hi Jude,
I guess it came as no suprise, but I got no feedback as to whether the latest kit can be used ?with a 64 bit apple. Can anyone advise me on a PC emulator, because I think this mac is up to it.
They took me to the Royal Derby Hospital when I had my seizure on 20th February. I know Mansfield is a hotspot for Covid, know there's a lot round Nottingham too. Would have thought they would take me to Chesterfield, but I guess that's overloaded too.
Wanted to travel back by public transport to save the NHS money/an ambulance, but they wouldn't let me, because I'd been next to someone who tested positive for Covid. He was back from me in ?an alcove, so very unlikely I've caught it. Did everything right, regular hand washing, wearing a mask keeping 2M or more from anyone, but you can't wear a mask when you eat/drink.
Turns out foot was infected so they've given me Flucloxacillin 1g, 4 times a day. It is doing a good job.
Guess I'll have a 4th scar to add my collection on the right leg.
Pain has flared up on the left side. It must be referred pain has I've never injured my left side.
Heard of Phantom limb pain, but referred pain was a new one on me.
I guess it's true what they say, you learn something new everyday.?
I'll know in 10 days if I have Covid. Wearing NBC mask to protect others. Can't believe how many people I see with no mask, It's not a tough ask is it?
Hugs to you & Peter, John
