The old screen used to have a readily accessible "Approve and Un-moderate" button.? Now I have to click on the three bars thingie and then select approve and unmoderate member.

IMHO this is a retrograde step and is a PITA.

For this solution to work, it would be necessary for the ISP to process the user's filters BEFORE determining what
is spam or not.

I was interested in what you found so I did a test to cpom[pare my last two revisions.?

The result (screenshot below)

Additions were highlighted in green.? Deletions were highlighted in red (pink?)
Actually it's not quite 100% correct -- see the text "Test Image."? I did not remove?or add?that text between the two versions -- I removed and pasted in only images, so I can't explain why Gio highlighted those as changes?? I did mess w/ that text in earlier versions, but not between the two I compared.
Also, the comparison does not show images that were deleted/added.

It's not easy to follow the history comparison because it appears to me that blank lines are added into the differences.?

Still, it would be useful if, say, I unintentionally (or intentionally, I suppose) deleted a chunk of text that I needed to retrieve and copy/clean up, and paste back onto that or another page or into a message.

On 8/14, I changed my DMARC record to p=reject and removed the groups.io IP address from my SPF record. This may be the first message I've sent since then. We'll see how DMARC likes it.

As stated in the Owners Manual, that only sets the person's posting privileges to the group setting, whatever that is.

One way to unmoderated yourself is to go to Admin, Members, select your name, scroll down to Posting Privileges. Be sure to Save.

However many group owners prefer to have themselves moderated, just as the group is. As a Canadian, I would say it gives me "sober second thought" as we say about our Senate!

My ISP (BT) changed its mail interface a few months ago and all Groups.io traffic was shunted into the Spam Box. ("All" in this case being traffic from the one group I moderate;

I found the rather obvious answer... look for "admin " on the L side of one
s web page...

The group description is editable - and re-editable!

It is suggested that if your group is going to be in the list of groups (Find or Create a Group), make your description count.

Go to Admin, Settings.
Be sure to save by clicking update.

Thanks, you are right!? The original message was deleted after the responses were received.? Today's message was edited several times then deleted!?

Now I feel right daft for not checking the activity log!

The only time I've seen something like that, the poster deleted the original message.? I'd bet that if you check the Activity log, you'll see that's what they did.? If not, it should still give you a clue what happened.

On the website a new thread/topic appeared, but it started with a member posting two responses to the original post.? I couldn't see that original post on the website and the message count for the topic was only two - i.e.the two responses that I could see, with the original post not included in the count.? I could only see the original post by clicking "Show quoted text" on the response.? When the daily digest arrived I checked and there was indeed an earlier post that started the thread, and other members had responded to it.? Back on the website I could see the responses, but still not the original post.? Subsequent posts by the OP to the same topic did appear.

Today it has happened again on the same thread: on the digest I can see a long post by the original poster, but it doesn't appear on the website version and the message count for the topic hasn't gone up.

Anyone else had this happen?? Any ideas?
