Re: Reply to links in email sent from Announcement-Only Group
looks like an oversight yes, sure Another thing though... announcement-group may not be the best name for it. There are announcement-groups, aka groups that ban discussion, in which all

Re: How does a manager delete a posted message from server? (sent emails would remain sent I gather)
Topics don't necessarily have hashtags, it's just a group of related messages.? If you click Delete Topic from that page, it will delete that Topic and all the messages in it.? To delete a single

Re: Privacy settings (was: Re: Can a remember remove his own posts?? Not finding the answer....)

Re: Reply to links in email sent from Announcement-Only Group
Mark, Most likely because the code that generates the footer (individual as well as digest) doesn't have a check for that setting. I would call that an oversight, except... those links could still be

Re: Have a new group with topics in place. Replies are all posting as completely new topics. How do I fix this?

Re: Reply to links in email sent from Announcement-Only Group

Reply to links in email sent from Announcement-Only Group
Why would there be Reply To Group, Reply To Sender, and New Topic links in the footer of messages from an announcement-only group? As expected, if I reply, a failure message is returned: 500: This is

Have a new group with topics in place. Replies are all posting as completely new topics. How do I fix this?
I have never had an issue with this before but now all of a sudden one of my forums (that has set topics for members to reply to) is posting every single reply as a new topic. This won't work. I can't

Re: Google groups versus groups.io?
My evaluation is that the features offered by groups.io are a superset of those that Google Groups offers. As importantly, there is this group and the beta group if you have problems. If you have

Re: Google groups versus groups.io?
To be fair, Google Groups doesn't have that feature either. You can establish a link to a Google Drive or some such, but Google Groups itself provides no community storage. Regards, Bruce Check out
