Bob, If you can't, here or in any group, it is either because you aren't logged in, or are logged in with an address different than the one that posted the message in question. Look at the upper right

Thank you, Duane. The Manual was just a bit daunting because of its huge amount of content, and I was "trying to wing it" but was unsuccessful. I have now created a few Notices and made them Active.

As Ken stated, doing so is kinda closing the corral gate after the horses have already gotten out. Although the privacy setting will help, there's nothing to keep other group members from forwarding

Having had a quick double check I don't think that is true. The ability of a member to delete a message exists even if editing is disallowed as a group setting. Chris
