Re: Mysteriously disappearing messages
I'd first check the activity log to see if there's a record of it being received - or possibly rejected. Also make sure you're actually sending it from the email address that is subscribed. Pete

Moderator Unban a Member?
Does the Moderator privilege to ban a member also mean that Moderator can unban a member? Is any privilege difference required to unban vs. ban a member? -- Best wishes, Larry McDavid W6FUB Anaheim,

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
Thanks, Bruce. You and Duane hit the nail on the head, that is, I was trying to do this from the subgroup's member list rather than from the subgroup's member's page. Best, Glenn

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
This is the trick, many thanks, Duane. The only clarification I would add is that one needs to click on the member's page of the subgroup, not the member's page of the main group as these are

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
Glenn -- This is the part I don't get. Assuming you are an Owner of the main group, you should be able to do this. Just Direct Add yourself to the subgroup, enter that subgroup , and change your Role

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
I think you're going at it wrong.? I just checked and found that I can change the Role of anyone in a subgroup where I'm just a member (also if NOT a member) because I'm an owner of the main group

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
Actually I just remembered that how easy it is to add a member to a subgroup. Just from Admin, Settings in subgroup. Then choose Direct Add. Find your name, click in checkbox, and then Add. If you are

Re: Calendar not consistently sending reminders #cal-reminder
Gayle, I've run into similar problems with our club's 2 monthly meetings.? I have each one of them setup in the group's calendar to send out reminders 1 day and also 2 hours before the meeting times.

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
Can't you explain to the current subgroup owner how to make you a member and owner? And then stay on as owner, just reduce your email subscription to special notices only or no-mail, depending on what

Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
We have subgroups for subcommittees of our committee. Naturally, I am not on every subcommittee and don't want/need/should have emails from every subcommittee. So, as owner of the main group when I

Wow, I stand corrected them. I didn't think that was possible. And I do read the every day change log that comes out on Fridays. And I didn't think that was one of the things that Mark had added. So I

Re: Spam!
You can't ban it after the person has already been removed. So this wouldn't work in Davy's case.

Re: Spam!
If you lock the topic, that'll fix the problem.

Re: Spam!
Of course. I'd prefer to simply not approve the person rejoining until they tell me they've changed their password. Just a little less effort. Pete

Re: Spam!
(I just realized I had intended to add "Next time I'll remove the subscriber" at the end of my first paragraph, but either I had a brain fart or a draft didn't save. Probably the former.)
