Re: Mysteriously disappearing messages
I'd first check the activity log to see if there's a record of it being received - or possibly rejected. Also make sure you're actually sending it from the email address that is subscribed. Pete

Moderator Unban a Member?
Does the Moderator privilege to ban a member also mean that Moderator can unban a member? Is any privilege difference required to unban vs. ban a member? -- Best wishes, Larry McDavid W6FUB Anaheim,

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
This is the trick, many thanks, Duane. The only clarification I would add is that one needs to click on the member's page of the subgroup, not the member's page of the main group as these are

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
Glenn -- This is the part I don't get. Assuming you are an Owner of the main group, you should be able to do this. Just Direct Add yourself to the subgroup, enter that subgroup , and change your Role

Re: Owner can't change owner of a subgroup?
I think you're going at it wrong.? I just checked and found that I can change the Role of anyone in a subgroup where I'm just a member (also if NOT a member) because I'm an owner of the main group

Re: Calendar not consistently sending reminders
#cal-reminder
Gayle, I've run into similar problems with our club's 2 monthly meetings.? I have each one of them setup in the group's calendar to send out reminders 1 day and also 2 hours before the meeting times.

Can't you explain to the current subgroup owner how to make you a member and owner? And then stay on as owner, just reduce your email subscription to special notices only or no-mail, depending on what

Re: Spam!
You can't ban it after the person has already been removed. So this wouldn't work in Davy's case.

Of course. I'd prefer to simply not approve the person rejoining until they tell me they've changed their password. Just a little less effort. Pete

Re: Spam!
(I just realized I had intended to add "Next time I'll remove the subscriber" at the end of my first paragraph, but either I had a brain fart or a draft didn't save. Probably the former.)
