Although it is very scary to be in your situation, I think we have to be understanding right now. Mark is overwhelmed with the total close down of YahooGroups (even though they insist it¡¯s not a shutdown). This dumps millions(?) of people into the laps of others?

Groups.io is still in start up phase¡ªstill growing and still experimenting. It would be prudent for him to go slow on hiring to cover Yahoo¡¯s screw ups. Maybe tomorrow Yahoo will take it all back and he would have unworkable staff commitments. He is up to his ears in business.

Those of us who ¡°escaped¡± when Yahoo first started falling apart can assure you that Groups.io is well run, supportive, and stable. It just isn¡¯t capable of fixing the world when it wants fixed.
