Right; here goes, but this may not work with mail services actually provided by Yahoo:
Log into your BT mail page; you cannot make the change via an email client.
Look for the
Settings Tab; mine has 2 gear wheels as part of it.
Click on
Settings.
On the displayed page find the
Mail Tab on the left hand side.
Click on Mail.
Scroll down the page for the box titled
Spam Settings for POP Users.
Click on
Switch off Spam Filtering and Select
identify potential spam with prefix [Spam]
The screenshot below may help a bit.

What happens if you are using something other than POP is something I cannot comment upon.
Log out and revert to using your email client, if applicable.
The eagle - eyed will spot that I am using a data dongle connected to a laptop; I am away from my home location. :(
