Re: BF-F8+ random startup channel
How about rearranging the memory channels so the one you want will be the one it defaults to instead of trying to tell it to use memory X? Would that be good enough? Donald KX8K

Re: BF-F8+ random startup channel
Everything is in the same place. MR A channel is set to 1, MR B channel is set to 4. On start up the radio usually goes to 0, but sometimes some other channel but B goes to 4.

I'm not in front of my pc at the moment, but I think Chirp has fields for the power-on channels.

BF-F8+ random startup channel
My BF-F8+ starts up on random channels. It usually starts on channel 0 even though it is almost always on channel 1 when I turn it off. I'd like it to start on 1. Anyone have any? idea how to fix

I can tell you, you will NOT find a schematic. I have tried to abtain one to repair a friends radio. The power level and frequency range is software Controlled. You can not adjust the frequencies or

Chuck . . . You can read the CHIRP documentation (it is in the files section of the CHIRP group or on the CHIRP website). The thing that may not be intuitive is that you first have to download the
