Face ID not working suddenly
have an iPhone X running IOS 16.7.2 and my face recognition quit working. ?I now need to type in my passcode each time I wake up my phone. ?I’ve powered off the phone several times but it still doesn’t work. ?I’ve tried resetting the face ID but it won’t let me. ?I have 256 G memory which is not half used. ?Any suggestions? ?The facial recognition is just so handy and I miss it.?

I understand needing to have features to make it easy to use, but whether it has a home button is just a delaying argument, nothing more. After a few weeks, muscle memory takes over.?
I only gave up my working iPhone 4S, because they were shutting down the 3G networks. Pretty much like using a vacuum tube analog TV, until the day they stopped broadcasting an analog signal.?
