I think I have been through every Apple update for the last 8 years. Only just changed on a recent 13.X release. I¡¯ve been using the feature every day till it broke.

Now that the question has been posted. I see the problem. I can¡¯t place the cursor anywhere without the keyboard up. It just highlights a word with no cursor to be seen. What¡¯s up with that? ?I can¡¯t get it to work without the keyboard. Interesting and frustrating. ?

I find that I can "cut" words/phrases from the screen but it doesn't always allow me to "paste"

I do so wish that there was a comprehensive printed booklet explaining all the changes between the old and new versions of the Operating System.

When I was in email (Apple App) I use to be able to touch and hold in an area and a little magnifying glass would pop up and I could move the cursor to the exact spot I wanted insert text or delete text, etc. I can no longer do that under 13.X. I cannot find a setting for it either. I¡¯ve had that feature for years and now it appears to be gone. I don¡¯t recall ever setting it up in any configuration. I thought it was a default feature. It¡¯s very hard to select where I want the cursor now.
