X axis DRO, my next project
Hi all. For my next lathe project I'm thinking about adding an X axis DRO.? It's really the one axis there's no built in measurement for and I think I'd really like it for boring to a specific depth

if you don't mind making a new motor mount you can use a treadmill motor & controller , that will give you variable speed . ??? ??? animal

The motors used on the LittleMachineShop.com mini lathes and mini mills are 230V motors. The motor on Alibaba is a 48V motor. Besides the voltage being correct, be sure to check the physical

That 7x14? price is now $700 at Walmart.ca . About the best buy?? I think the Vevor are the 'bottom of the heap' in quality, so hard to tell. I have a 7x14 lathe and I would not be happy with a 7x12

Hi group I have a 5200 LMS lathe, and I think the motor is gone. It need a manual twist to run and the motor make a lot of noise. Sometimes ago the motor make a lot of noise, and I took out the rotor.
