MPD list serve, alerts and community meeting

I've received a couple of questions from folks about how to join MPD's list serve and enroll for their real time alert service. ?Info on each follows:

Finally, this Thursday, from 7PM to 9PM, fellow Commissioner Kirsten Oldenburg has scheduled a community meeting with MPD at the Hill Center. ? Originally the meeting agenda focussed on the recent spate of burglaries, though I think this will be broadened considering recent crimes in our neighborhood.
