Thanks.? Also please note that if you are considering applying to either Peabody or School-Within-School (SWS), you may want to hold off on submitting your preferences.? The city is considering moving out of Peabody and to a temporary location, followed by a more permanent move in a few years, likely off of the immediate Capitol Hill area.
?
No decisions have been made yet as to when or where a move would happen.? DCPS has promised a decision by 2/13.? Your chances in the lotteries are not impacted by when you submit your application.? Consequently people considering these schools might want to wait to hear how many slots will be available, where the schools will be located, etc.

begins online on the DCPS website on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, and ends
on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012.

Please note that there is absolutely no advantage to applying early in
the process. You have until Feb. 27, 2012, to complete and submit your
application. We recommend that you take your time and are confident in
your choices before submitting your application.

Response Team and other knowledgeable DCPS staff will be on hand to
