I've recovered three old photographs belonging to the
JOHNSON Family of Morgan, MN.? The group
of photographs are as follows:

1 - Cora Alberta JOHNSON STROM taken at the J. E. Johnson
Studio in Morgan, MN in the 1890's, Cora appears to be in her teens at the
time, note "1884-1937"

2 - Florence and Cora JOHNSON taken at the J. E. Johnson
Studio in Morgan, MN in the 1890's, both appear to be about 8-12 years
old

3 - Baby Dewey, Cora, Viola, and Florence WITHERIL taken at
the J. E. Johnson Studio in Morgan, MN in the 1890's, dates 1884, 1886, and
1898 appear with the names

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following
information regarding this family:

Florence Olive JOHNSON was b. 22 Apr 1888 in Sheridan
Township, Redwood Co., MN to parents Julian Eggleston JOHNSON (1861-1944) and
Caroline JOHNSON (1866-1934) who were married 3 Oct 1882 in Eden Township,
Brown Co., MN.? Florence was one of 5
children born to this couple including Cora Alberta; Florence Olive; Viola
Lillian; Dewey Decatur; and Rose Thelma JOHNSON, all born between 1884 and
1901.? Florence married Lee Loreno
WITHERIL (1885-1961) on 15 Mar 1910 in Portland, OR and they had a daughter
Rozena WITHERIL ADEN (1911-1943).?
Florence died 11 Dec 1975 in Washington Co., OR and is buried in the
Riverview Abbey Mausoleum and Crematory in Portland, OR.

Her sister Cora Alberta JOHNSON was b. 28 Mar 1884 in Eden
Township, Brown Co., MN to the same parents.?
Cora married Fred STROM (1872-1926) and they had 9 children including
Charles Theodore; Freida Elverda; Dorothea Matilda; Florence Ellen; Lillian
Mabel; Fred Julian; Ida Caroline; Blanche Melba; and Melvin Robert STROM, all
born between 1904 and 1925.? Cora died 23
Aug 1937 in Bella Bella, British Columbia, Canada and is buried in the Bella
Bella Cemetery there.

Viola Lillian JOHNSON was b. 9 Dec 1895 in Morgan, MN to the
same parents and she married Ward Arthur WALKER (1885-1951) and they had a
daughter, Vivian Evelyn WALKER (1914-1989).?
Viola died 29 Jun 1939 in Oregon and is buried in the Hillsboro Pioneer
Cemetery in Hillsboro, OR.?

Dewey Decatur JOHNSON was b. 2 Jul 1898 in Morgan, MN to the
same parents and married Etta GRAY (b. 1901) on 23 Oct 1920 in Vancouver,
WA.? Dewey died 27 Dec 1958 in Alameda
Co., CA.
