Re: K4D and Node Red
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Michael,I¡¯ve changed my station around and in process of reconfiguring for high power SO2R. I sold the K4D to a friend. Contact me direct. I can get you set up with what I have so far for the K4D and am willing to assist you with getting started. Once you see what I have done so far, it should be easy to implement your additional ideas. My e-mail is good on QRZ. 73 Dave wo2x On Jul 9, 2022, at 7:35 AM, Michael Rosenberg <mikerosenberg@...> wrote:

Tuner Genius Auto Tune video
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi all,Alan, WA9WUD and I have been working on his tuner sweep flow. It is integrated with my FlexRadio and TG XL flows. This demonstrates how you can use the flow to program the Tuner Genius memories easily. The flow has defaults for number of memories per band. You can change the number of memories to fit your needs.? You can also set the start and end frequency and change number of tune memories (steps). The resultant graph has a bar above the frequency for each memory tune point. It is blue to indicate tuner in circuit, green for tuner bypassed, and red for SWR above 2.0:1. The zip package has the updated FlexRadio and Tuner Genius flows as well as the tuner sweep flow which I modified to work with the Flex and TG XL flows. A special Thanks to Alan, WA9WUD who did a lot of the ¡°heavy lifting¡± with the design of the flow. Have fun! Dave wo2x |

Re: SPE Flow
Adrian, the following functions highlighted in red are currently not implemented in my Node Red flow. If you have extra real estate in the dashboard, these could be added. As most are set-up related, I don't think?they are useful in a generic operational?flow which is why I have not implemented them. If you have a burning desire, I could implement them leaving the individual?nodes disabled allowing a user to simply enable the nodes within Node Red and adjust the dashboard accordingly. Re: SPE Flow
Adrian, what did you have in mind for a new feature. As to alarms and warnings, they are displayed but not latched (in other words, not time extended). The alarms and warnings will be displayed for whatever duration the polls report them. If logging is enabled they will be captured in the log. Ron WB2WGH? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWe¡¯re getting it working under various conditions such as TX Ant 1 or 2 on radio (port A or B on TG XL) and show colors to indicate if tuner in circuit or bypassed for each tune point.?Once done then will start looking into adding colors to indicate a failed or high SWR tune and then if it make sense to sequence thru each band automatically.? I think the second condition above will not be included since every installation is unique (number of antennas in total, number of antennas per band, etc). So it will be up to each person to select the band and antenna before starting.? For example if you have two antennas for 20 meters, you can make sure the first antenna is selected, run to sweep/auto tune, then select second antenna and run it again.? Alan has put a lot of work into this and it is something that can help take the guesswork out of selecting different start and end frequencies per band and default number of tune memories. You will have the ability to manually set start and end frequencies and number of memories. You don¡¯t need ten memories for 12 meters.? 73 Dave wo2x Sent from my waxed string and tin cans.? Dave, WO2X is working on a new "Smart", Band Select
In the mean time, I added two sequences, that the flow will automatically use; - Tuner Not In Bypass: Tuner Find Solution Sequence, Bars are "Blue". - Tuner In Bypass: ? ? ? ?Flex ?Tune Sequence, Bars are "Red" This can be used several ways. ?If you have set up your Tuner Genius to not tune (Bypass) certain band segments, these will show up in the graph. ?Here is an example of my G5RV, where I simulated (manual put Tuner in Bypass): Or, do a complete sweep with the tuner in Bypass, to see the antenna's SWR Sweep. ?Here is he same G5RV with the Tuner in "Bypass" for the entire sweep: |

Some thoughts off the top of my head: 2) Sliders for AGC attack, decay fast/slow, slope, and threshold 8) TX and RX EQ sliders for each range ? my apologies for the slooooooooooooow response.??? Not been on the interwebz much lately. ? ? ? Mike |

Hey, that's ok.? Thanks much for your help, your videos, and this project.? I'm looking forward to using it at our club (W9ATG) winter field day.? I think at this point I'll just start over and bake a new pi (hi hi).? I probably screwed something up the first time.? 73's jon

Re: https://github.com/kylekrieg/Node-Red-Contesting-Dashboard
Jon,
You're above my troubleshooting level now.? Maybe someone else can chime in here as I think you've got some deeper issues of just trying to load the dashboard as it's not installing or recognizing some of your pallet nodes.? There is also a Node Red forum on the Node Red website that you can probably muster up some help, as there are back end developers that monitor that forum. Thanks Kyle AA0Z |

Thanks for your help, Kyle.?? Can I ignore these warnings on the uninstall?: ? pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo npm uninstall node-red-node-sqlite npm WARN saveError ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/home/pi/package.json' npm WARN enoent ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/home/pi/package.json' npm WARN pi No description npm WARN pi No repository field. npm WARN pi No README data npm WARN pi No license field. |
Re: https://github.com/kylekrieg/Node-Red-Contesting-Dashboard
I would remove the sqlite node and reinstall.? You might need to remove the sqlite node manually via the command prompt.? I think all the nodes in Node Red are installed though the npm manager.
I would try issuing sudo npm uninstall node-red-node-sqlite and let it do it's thing, reboot and try installing again letting the install finish with the GUI before moving on.? It will take a while.? Maybe 15 mins or so. Kyle AA0Z |
