I would like ask if the larger flash memory will allow the firmware to
generate more than the current 101 calibration points in a way that does not
break backwards compatibility with current software?
It would require some additional code for a single firmware to dynamically detect whether installed with more flash,
then conditionally increase that 101 limit. Of course, that additional code could be problematic for current nanoVNAs..
Alternatively, the code base could have conditional code by compiler pragma and separate firmware loads for larger and smaller flash.
