开云体育We invite all those with “No Email” the same way everyone else was invited. If and when they join they can set their email delivery to “No Email”. I can add an extra note to let them know that they can do that.Dave

开云体育I am getting a LOT more from this group since it switched. I guess that when people had to do a real act to switch their accounts they thought, “Hey, I had forgotten about that group,” and the Email sent to switch reminded them.

So basically, if you are set to "No Email", you only interact if you are using?the yahoo web site, so you have to manually join in . I think that people who regularly use more than one email address can subscribe to the list from more than one of them, and set all BUT one of them to “No Email”. Then it won’t matter which address they are sending from, all will be accepted, but they will still only receive 1 copy of postings. |

I haven’t done that, but then, I’m not getting mis-characterized messages. The first thing I did after joining a .io group was to go to (my mail ISP), log into Mail, and create a filter for the new group subscription. So group messages are OUT of my Inbox and moved to my MacSupport mailbox even before they leave the Mail server and get to my computer. |
This may be off-topic but I’m wondering how an invitation to members?on no email would be accomplished? So they will see this discussion there and read in the discussion what to do. The ones who are |
开云体育HUH!!I have just now, in the middle of this conversation, started getting duplicate copies of my own messages.

开云体育Somehow you are joined in the group twice:Which one do you want? I’ll delete the other one. Dave

Put the one on no email, please.

开云体育That might be the case, if we saw more replies from digest. It is more likely the accounts using "no email" are the ones using the web site, on vacation, are dormant or dead email addys. ,? Brent On Oct 18, 2019, at 3:09 PM, Jim Saklad via Groups.Io <jimdoc@...> wrote:

So others can do it for themselves. - sign into your groups.io account - click on Your Groups in upper tool bar - on the line of the group you want to change, and click on the item under Delivery - click on the Email Deliver format you want - click on save You can also reach this of this if you have it on the left column. This also appears to be where you unsubscribe. Brent On Oct 18, 2019, at 3:41 PM, Jim Saklad via Groups.Io wrote:

I can't see an easy way of getting totals for the different types of subscription. We lose ~? of our members by default? Otto On Fri, 18 Oct 2019 at 14:56, Dave Kelly via Groups.Io <drkelly=[email protected]> wrote: Yes. Anybody who set their status to "No Email" was not invited. |
About half were set to “No Email”. I counted them by sorting columns and filtering my numbers spreadsheet. It is possible that some people have just been lurkers and haven’t rejoined yet.

No. The email addresses are in the members list, along with delivery type, moderation status and join date. Otto On Fri, 18 Oct 2019 at 22:08, Brent via Groups.Io <whodo678=[email protected]> wrote:

We will do that shortly. There will also be a Special Notice. As for those web-only, we still have their address in the members?list.? Otto On Sat, 19 Oct 2019 at 18:29, Vince Winterling <vincentwinterling@...> wrote:
