Can AirPods Pro earbuds be paired to smart TVs?
开云体育My wife just purchased AirPods Pro. They’re impressive indeed as regards sonic fidelity (and even the amount of bass they reproduce), but today I tried to pair them with my LG 4K OLED TV, which I’ve been able to pair with Bose Headphones, my Beats Pro X Bluetooth buds, and even my Phonak hearing aids, but I could NOT seem to pair them to the TV.Am I just doing something wrong, or is this something the AirPods Pro cannot do?

开云体育If you already tried this unsuccessfully, a call to Apple support might be in order:IF YOU DON'T HAVE Apple?TV?AND IT SUPPORTS BLUETOOTH Go to Bluetooth setting on your smart?tv. Press the button at the lower back on?AirPods?and wait till white light in on. This?will?put?AirPods?in pairing mode. Select your?AirPods?for bluetooth search from your Smart?Tv.Pat Pro On Mar 1, 2020, at 10:07 AM, jimrobertson via Groups.Io <jimrobertson@...> wrote:

开云体育Thanks for your response Pat. The AirPods Pro pair differently from the first and second generation AirPods, virtually automatically as soon as you open the case. I’m not able to make that happen with my smart TV, but I will review everything I can find on Apple published support. On Mar 1, 2020, at 10:15, Pat Taylor via Groups.Io <pat412@...> wrote:

开云体育I would still try the method I sent. ?While the AirPods Pro do pair to many devices automatically, mine do still have the button on the back to force them into pairing mode.Pat Pro On Mar 1, 2020, at 10:17 AM, jimrobertson via Groups.Io <jimrobertson@...> wrote:

开云体育As I recall, when I got first generation AirPods, the instructions say that to pair with an iPhone you merely have to open the case near the phone, but to pair with something else you have to push the button on the back of the case. If you just got them you are probably covered, as with other Apple equipment for 90 days free phone support. Give them a call. |
