Thanks for your response Pat. The AirPods Pro pair differently from the first and second generation AirPods, virtually automatically as soon as you open the case. I¡¯m not able to make that happen with my smart TV, but I will review everything I can find on Apple published support.

My wife just purchased AirPods Pro. They¡¯re impressive indeed as regards sonic fidelity (and even the amount of bass they reproduce), but today I tried to pair them with my LG 4K OLED TV, which I¡¯ve been able to pair with Bose Headphones, my Beats Pro X Bluetooth buds, and even my Phonak hearing aids, but I could NOT seem to pair them to the TV.
Am I just doing something wrong, or is this something the AirPods Pro cannot do?
