But if all the devices are on the same iCloud account and syncing is turned on shouldn¡¯t they al be on all devices? And didn¡¯t she say some were ripped and others purchased from other sources?

The iPhone 8 can run iOS 16, so OS should be recent enough to be compatible. Verify that all the devices have syncing with the same iCloud account. If that does not do it call Apple Support. Brent On

Years ago we used to use Senuti (iTunes spelled backwards). It looks like It is no longer updated, however it might lead you to an answer that works. Maybe if you have an older Mac that still runs?
