Re: Can Calendar be shared between iPad & Mac?
BlueTooth is a means of communication. It is neither storage or syncing. It is like saying AM radio, compared to FM radio, or Satellite radio. It can be used as a away to sync between _your_ devices,

And, just to be clear, in each of those instances, that doesn¡¯t mean that the only way to manage notes (or messages, or contacts, or events) is in iCloud. It means that you are managing those via

Re: Can Calendar be shared between iPad & Mac?
On my iPad I check in Settings where it¡¯s the 3rd item down. Click the Bluetooth and it will tell you what¡¯s connected. My little circle keeps spinning -with noting coming up. On my Mac I check

Re: Can Calendar be shared between iPad & Mac?
Since buying a MBP 3 with Sonoma, syncing the calendar with my phone has been sporadic. I want it to go through the computer, not iCloud, and it's not listed as an app that syncs to icloud. Notes

Re: Can Calendar be shared between iPad & Mac?
I believe it is on iCloud because it doesn¡¯t show up in my Bluetooth devices list. But my Calendar and Notes sync just fine. (Maybe others.) Becky

Re: Can Calendar be shared between iPad & Mac?
I¡¯m puzzled too. At home, iCloud syncs over your home network, Wi-Fi or ethernet. When away from home, an iPhone (or iPad with mobile connection) uses the mobile/cell network. No BT in either case.

Budd I¡¯m just an ordinary user, not a guru! I don¡¯t understand where Bluetooth comes into this at all. What do you see if you go to www.iCloud.com and log in? The same on each device? Just check!

Stop iCloud from downloading
I recently ran out of iCloud storage space so I had to upgrade to the 2 TB plan. I decided to let it store my documents and desktop folders from my iMac. About 500 GB and counting. Now, however, my

My local Mac tech says he¡¯s had a couple of clients who upgraded to MacOS 10.14 or higher with a rotating HDD. It wasn¡¯t long before they were begging to upgrade to SSD¡¯s.

Whilst the theory behind Fusion Drives is good, in practice, they don¡¯t work so well. At least, that¡¯s what I¡¯ve found. The differences in speed between an NVMe SSD and a rotating HDD are so
