I¡¯m just an ordinary user, not a guru! ?I don¡¯t understand where Bluetooth comes into this at all. What do you see if you go to www.iCloud.com and log in?

The same on each device? Just check!

Bluetooth searches on both the iPad & iMac.
The iPad returns "Not supported" for the iMac.
Although the iMac shows BT connection to keyboard, mouse & trackpad, it never sees the iPad.
