Mother of all security breaches!!!
Security experts are referring to the recent discovery of a massive database that is composed of data from thousands of previous breaches, leaks, and private data databases as "The mother of all breaches".
¡°Why should I care? How does it impact me?¡± The breach includes over 26 billion records. That¡¯s staggering. And that means if any of your accounts are included (or if you reuse passwords anywhere), you need to take action in order to protect yourself and your family. Who¡¯s impacted? The database includes data from a wide variety of commonly used websites, including: - Tencent - Deezer - Dropbox Personal data link checker: More info: __________________________________________________ Randy B. Re: Mac mail password
Assuming you are using IMAP and not POP, I would delete the offline account, then reinstall it.

Mac mail password
I have two hotmail accounts. Yesterday suddenly both accounts went offline, on iPhone, iPad, MacBook and imac.
When I tried to set them online they rejected the password, even though I knew it was correct. Tried quitting and restarting Mail, turned off mac, etc. Nothing. So I left it overnight. This morning still wouldn¡¯t connect and Preferences wouldn¡¯t let me reset password. So I went into the Hotmail website and reset the password for both accounts, and could read messages there. When I went back to Mail, one account was on line but the other was still offline, and wouldn¡¯t connect even with the new password. Now both accounts are again offline, and when I enter the new password I get a red incorrect message. Any ideas what may be happening or what else I should try??? All and any help appreciated¡¡. |

Thanks so much for that! Do you think the options will be available any time soon for ¡°Apple Silicon¡± iPad Pros? (I won¡¯t need any advice regarding how to get into mine; the screen already looks like the ice beneath the heroic sled dog Togo in Disney¡¯s movie about the Hero of Seward Park in NYC, and that pathetic-looking glass is barely tethered to the (still working) electronic innards by two ribbon cables. BUT, I¡¯m curious just HOW far Apple will allow self repair attempters to go. I DID get one quote (from a local RadioShack store) for my tablet. They had to disclose in advance that venturing inside would automatically disable FaceID and TouchID because Apple wouldn't let non-Apple-Authorized repair facilities reactivate them as part of a repair.

Re: Printing from web page produces blank sheet
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý
Thanks for that additional report, Rick. Unfortunately, additional reports seem to be leading us AWAY from, rather than closer to a cause discovery. For example, in my case, when printing to paper yielded a blank sheet in Safari, the same was true if I printed to PDF (from Safari) but printing from Chrome produced the desired output. If you remember, could you try ¡°Print to PDF¡± from Safari as well next time printing hard copy from Safari gives you a blank sheet? But, at least we all seem to have work-arounds. Thanks so much.

Re: Printing from web page produces blank sheet
I print some pages from bank statements from Bank of America Wells Fargo, either with Safari or Chrome. Same blank page. My workaround is to do a screen capture and printing works fine. ?However, I just ran several tests to confirm the problem and it now seems to be printing OK. It has been an issue for months but now appears to work normally. Stay tuned.?

The replies from Jim S and JR, suggest that there is a compatibility issue with the print and browser settings, extensions and browser that Jim R is using.
