I have two hotmail accounts. Yesterday suddenly both accounts went offline, on iPhone, iPad, MacBook and imac.

When I tried to set them online they rejected the password, even though I knew it was correct.

Tried quitting and restarting Mail, turned off mac, etc. Nothing.

So I left it overnight. This morning still wouldn’t connect and Preferences wouldn’t let me reset password.

So I went into the Hotmail website and reset the password for both accounts, and could read messages there.

When I went back to Mail, one account was on line but the other was still offline, and wouldn’t connect even with the new password.

Now both accounts are again offline, and when I enter the new password I get a red incorrect message.

Any ideas what may be happening or what else I should try???

Maybe. The problem is that once every register on your SSD has been filled once (regardless of whether much of it has been marked for erasing and re-use), your SSD will begin to noticably slow down. Since your Mac uses your internal (boot) drive for invisible scratch space, temp files, meta data, databases, etc., your internal drive’s free space gets used even if you meticulously use an external to offload stuff too. If your internal drive is too small, it is going to fill up eventually even if you don’t actually store much on it.

That is an assumption on your part. Rick gave no indication. Many of the others mentioned that they were on a recipe site, but Rick did not.

So at that point, if no one else find a similar problem on a different site, my guess would be that the problem is with the site, not the print process.

Since a work around has been offered, you have 3 options:
- use the work around,
- write the site owner to fix the page, or
- flog a dead horse and complain about it.
