I'll research the Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike Falcon for any reported issues. Weird thing is none of the rest of my teammates are having the same issue. They did complain about Crowdstrike

Previous to this, I didn¡¯t even know that there WAS a version of Microsoft Defender for the Macintosh. You will have to research it on the Web to see if it might be the source of your problems.

Sorry, I¡¯m now told that you have an SSD. Please disregard the above advice. SSD¡¯s can¡¯t be defragmented and one should never try, because defragmentation routines would damage an SSD.
