Yes. A change. ?I tried to use Screeshot (Catalina) to capture the little menu but Screenshot is often buggy. It sort of froze in a kind of dark mode, menu brightly highlighted, and no screen cap file. I had to restart Mac.?

It's called the Input menu and now has a Square icon withe 4 little
hollow square in it.?
Keyboard Viewer, as Otto says, is very convenient and has been around
