Good point, but I have noticed that with attachments from Windows machines, but not from Macs. Where are these images kept, or is it in Mail.app.

If it is the consensus of the list-owner and moderators, I¡¯ll remove it.
Personally, I would like to see more of them, because I find it useful to *see* with whom I¡¯m interacting.
