Thank you but I am a little uncertain as to what you mean. ?The Mac Mini (is this what you are referring to as "the unit"?) works fine on its own. ?I have plugged the hub into the Mac Mini with two different cables. ?I tried an external drive (not the hub) and Time Machine worked as expected with it. ?
