FYI, you can take a screenshot of just apart of your Desktop, by using the shortcut shift, control, 4, then defining the area you want with the crosshairs and clicking.

It's a widget. I'd rather not reveal my personal info. It's just a teeny weeny pic of what I normally see when I open gmail. But it's def a widget. It has an option to "edit widgets," but that doesn't go anywhere useful.?
I just need to know how to delete a widget. I can google that.
It would be easier to identify, if you included a screen shot.?
?There's now a tiny little picture of my gmail at the top left of my desktop. I'm guessing this is an accidentally created, so-called "widget". When I click on it, it disappears into a shadowy line on the left side of my screen. It is not being helpful. :-(
I searched through all the "options" listed on it but can't find one to make it go away. Information appreciated!
