OK. ?Somehow and I still have not figured out how, but I have lost a file folder from bar at the bottom of the screen on my MACBook. ?Since day one I had this file icon (actually two) in the row with mail, browser contacts, iMessage ?and such. One was a folder with ALL my apps in it in alpha order. And then my Downloaded files. ?
I do not remember what I was doing that somehow both of them got deleted and I can not figure out how to get them back. ?I did make a file folder and copied some programs to it and it is on my desktop. It’s not ALL the programs/apps tho just what I put in it.?

No, when you delete photos from a Mac using iCloud Photos, the photo place marker is not left in iCloud;

?Hi John, I looked up AudioQuest Chocolate HDMI cables on Amazon and oh boy are they expensive. They might be worth it but I can’t justify it. BTW there were no AudioQuest Chocolate cable but there were Cinnamon, Vodka, Forest, Pearl, Thunderbird, Blueberry, and Carbon HDMI cables. 2-3 foot cables were anywhere from $29.95 to $199.95 depending on the flavor you bought.
I realize you get what you pay for but in the 5-10 years that HDMI cables have been the standard I have bought $10 cables and have only had to replace 1 so I will stay with what I have.
Thanks.

The quality of the video wasn’t that good so I purchased AudioQuest Chocolate & boy are they great, I now only use that brand for any HMDI needs, TV’s & Computer.

The Courier-Journal E-Edition Article about ApplePay and AirDrop
Jane, I assume it’s okay but I haven’t done so. Apple is moving to make its OS similar to its iOS and I positively hate what they have done with the iOS. For example, they add my reminders to my calendar which annoys me greatly and there is no way to turn that off.
As long as apple continues to up date iOS 14 I will not update to iOS 15.

A sensor just went out on my Prius and needed to be replaced. The sensors have batteries. The battery in one of the four sensors was dead, and the batteries can’t be replaced, so the whole sensor had to go. I found this Web page informative.

It cost me $93 for the sensor and programming at Big-O Tires. I replaced a tire at the same time.
They certainly don’t communicate with the car using Bluetooth because Bluetooth uses frequencies around 2.4 GHz and the sensors are down around 400 MHz.

Harry,
Don’t believe a word of it. There’s actually a little guy with a pressure gauge who lives in the rim of your tire (well, actually four of them since you have four tires). They monitor the tire pressure every 10 seconds — it’s a thankless job — and report any anomalies to the slightly bigger guy who lives behind your dashboard, who activates a warning message if he thinks it’s warranted.
The reason the tires are so expensive to replace is that they have to pay a rather exorbitant severance fee to each little guy that gets displaced when the new tire is installed. To make matters worse they have a DEI policy that forces them to hire some guagers that aren’t always the most competent. But that’s another story, and I’m pretty sure President Trusk is going to take care of it soon.

Tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) that use valve stems to read tire pressure work by incorporating wireless sensors within the valve stem itself (or very close to it, attached to the base). These sensors measure the tire pressure and transmit this information wirelessly to a receiver in your vehicle, which then alerts you through a dashboard light if the pressure is low.
