ALAMOGORDO AMATEUR RADIO CLUB'S 39TH ANNUAL HAMFEST ARRL SANCTIONED 30 Aug ?2025 Otero County Fair grounds (in Alamogordo NM) 7am to 3pm-ish Admission: Free!!! Vendors can set up day before 3 to 7pm Pre-register for Tables and prize tickets. Tables are $15.00 ea (if you have your own table and chairs $6.00 each table space) Electrical at most of the table locations but not all. Pre-register so we can get a good table count. Prize drawing tickets postmarked before 23 August $8.00 (pick up at event) If you cannot make it, tickets will be added to Main Prize drawing. Smartsdr understands cwl or cwu NOT cw and you must change the radio mode in bands&modes to cwl or cwu - whichever sideband you have configured in Smartsdr. You really need to read section 2.5.1 of the excellent manual and you also need to read and apply
Hinsons tip on page 42. Logger32 when configured correctly works flawlessly with Smartsdr.

You haven't read the manual have you? Try CW/CWL This sets the radio mode as CW for radio 1, and CWL for radio 2. SeventyThree(s).

I haven't tested this, but is the problem that SmartSDR does not have a mode of CW, it uses CWL or CWR. SeventyThree(s).?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks Frank for answer¡This is my config (band/mode) for 40m (for example). This works OK on my RADIO 1 (Elecraft K3) but wrong mode, as I said, on RADIO 2 (FlexRadio 8400).

Hi Fabian, In Smartsdr navigate to settings -> radio setup -> phone/cw and select which sideband you wish to use in cw either CWL or CWU,? CWL preferred. In Logger32 navigate to Tools -> setup bands & modes? and make sure that the cw sections of the bands are configured to use which sideband you selected in Smartsdr. Look at your BandPlan (TOOLS?| SETUP BANDS & MODES).
Column 6 for Radio Mode
What is the Radio Mode set to on the CW rows??
Flex radios do not have a "CW" radio mode, they use CWL or CWR.

Hi, I have tested the following RCP DX Spot macro set-ups: All is OK, except for #ModeModifier# which?is supposed to change the radio filters depending on the mode. Commands are correct - when applied directly. they work beautifully, e.g. ? Is the?#ModeModifier#?syntax wrong in my set-up? Help me, please... Best regards, Alec |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýGood morning, I have a problem and I'm not sure if it could be related to configuration. When I change frequency, the mode change command to CW doesn't seem to be sent correctly. Switching to USB and LSB works fine, but L32 appears to send ZZMD00 for CW frequencies, where I believe it should be ZZMD04. Any ideas? Fabi¨¢n Malnero Maccari, EB1TR |
