Jack, KB5TXS suggested that we look for an alternative breakfast location. Kathy and I stopped in to Bill Miller BBQ (corner of Lakeline and 1431).? We talked with the manager about having 10-20 people for breakfast. Here's what we found out:
- They have pancakes, eggs, bacon, tacos, but not waffles.? Check out their breakfast menu at this link:
- If you are eating there, you just pick up a tray and go through the line to place your order.
- We asked if the coffee was good. The manager does not drink coffee, but said that they have many customers come in only for the coffee.
- They open at 6:00 am on Saturday and should have plenty of seating with high ceilings to cut down on noise.
- They do NOT offer a military discount.
- We saw no visible roaches or water puddles on the floor!

Check it out and let the group know if you have any other suggestions.? J&J's is going downhill. Today was particularly bad for roaches and water puddles in the back room. There has been little maintenance or updates. It may be time for a change.
